Default Who is going to Perry this year

Well I thought I'd get this thread off early. Planning to go to the big Swap Meet in Perry, Ga this year and wanted to know who else is planning on making the trip and what you may be selling or wanting to buy.

Always stocking up on epoxy, adhesives and the like
Maybe a Corsair at a good price[8D]

Hope to see old friends too

Pete

I plan on being there. Only about an hour or so from where I live. Don't plan on selling anything, just looking around and picking up any goodies I might need.

Ed,
Your club does a great job at Perry. Thanks

Yes was looking last year and found an Iron Bay Corsair but couldn't talk the owner down to my budget[&o]

Solution: Bring more money

Do you have to rent a table or is there a place to sell small amounts maybe out of your car?

I am not affiliated with the event, but it looked to me that you have to have a table. The buildings the Swap Meet is held in are in a large fenced area. The parking lots are outside the fence. Here is a link to the Georgia Aircraft Modelers Association. http://gama.rcclubs.com/georgia.html

Hi,
I'll be there. I would not miss it.
I fly with the Eutawville, SC club and I got 10 tables for our guys during the event. I can't believe it, but I looked on the website and it looks like it is all booked up.

To the person asking about selling small items without a table. There are several places to sell out in the breeze-way that people who do not have tables can use. Keep in mind it is usually very spring like weather during this event. Translation....plenty of rain.

I'm taking a few things to sell. Warbird, 30% Extra and a GP Ryan M all of them are ready to fly.

I would like to buy a giant AT 6 Texan. They are hard to come by, but let me know if you have one there.

Anyone interested, let me know.
See you there.
M

The last six years I have worked this event it has rained EVERY time, so I would not recommend the breeze ways, although some die-hards do. I'd suggest anyone wanting a table should put their name on the stand-by list when you first arrive. Any tables that become available, we can page over the PA system. For future reference - tables first go on sale each Sep for the following year.

I look forward to seeing everyone there.
