Twist 3D Engine Size Question?
I am waiting on a Twist 3D .40 Size to arrive...The recommended engine calls for a .40-.46(two-stroke) and .56-.72(four-stroke)...Will this airplane hover and perform most other aerobatics with a .56 Saito 4-stroke? Anyone have any advice on this subject??

RE: Twist 3D Engine Size Question?
I have a Thunder Tiger .46 with an APC 12-4 prop on the nose of my Twist. I used a small cell phone battery pack (NiMH, 1800 mah) from an old phone, so I saved a little weight with that, and it hovers at about 60% throttle. Harriers and spins are out of this world! If you build it to spec, and try to keep it as light as possible, this motor and plane work very well together. Good luck!

This question is also posted in the 3D forum, and that is probably the best place for this discussion. I'm closing this one. Here is a link to the open thread.
