Automotive "Spray paint"
Pep Boys, Napa, Auto Zone and a few other national brands all supply the touch up type spray paint. Is there any brand or type that would be better than the other for a small paint job that is almost as durable as the regular mixed gallen stuff?

Nope... it all works pretty well... especially under Poly Clear. I do find that the white will off slightly after a while, but that is more likely due to the light coating than it is the paint itself...
