I currently have an oportunity to get very cheap tickets for transatlanic flights and am thinking of doing a shopping trip to the US. I am looking at picking up a few engines Saito's & YS's. Anyone know of a shop that stocks both. I would prefer east coast but anywhere really as long as it has a major airport.

Fly into San Francisco (long flight from Heathrow...I did that once), rent a car and drive to the California state capital of Sacramento (about 2 hours).

Visit R/C Country. One of the largest (if not THE largest) hobby shops in the US.

I'm in Ohio and visit a store in North Canton, Ohio called Aero Tech Hobbies. They have the best price on Saito by far. They carry YS also. There Saito prices are cheaper than any mail order place I can find. They have a huge sellection of all RC equipement in stock. I have never seen so many radios, engines and kits at one store. Its like walking into tower hobbies.

They just recently put up the website. They had a "sale" email address a couple of years ago and they were asking people to sign up but I only got 2 emails and then it stopped.

They do such good business I guess they don't need the internet. Best just to call them if you need info. (cha-ching!)

You cannot beat RC Country in Sacramento for price or selection.

Thanks for the info, but I am not sure if I will have time to go to Sacramento. Really need something closer to SF,

So far I found,

and

The Hobby Co. of SF.

But no indication of what they specialise in, according to Yelp, The Hobby Co. of SF is great if you want to make a mobile or some other craft stuff, not quite what I want.

Does anybody know if either of these retailers stock RC aircraft, 3D stuff in particular?
