Default Where Is My Rambler??

My LHS has a Rambler 30 on back order for a month now. Do you think the dock strike is holding up shipments from the orient?

Default Rambler

Don't know when you will get your Rambler so here is a picture of one. I used to have one years ago - took this picture in July at the 100th Anniversery of Rambler/AMC.

Think it will fly with a Magnum .36?

Default Where Is My Rambler??

It came stock with a OS .70 Surpass, so no that engine won't work.

Yeah, I was also thinking a Saito .91 but looks like there may be a clearance problem.

Come on guys - If my buddy Jim and I could stuff a Chevy 283 into a 63 American, and these guys could stuff the engine into the AMX in the picture, they you can surely use something bigger than a .91 - go for a 1.60 at least.

There was nothing like the "RAMBLER SCRAMBLER" except maybe the AMX.

Default SCRambler

My buddy and I built a SCRambler before they came out with one - the 63 with a Chevy 283 - we like to think we were their inspiration.
