Default Truth in advertising...

You gotta give these marketing/ad copywriter types points for creativity.

While on that throne upon which all men are equal this morning, I was perusing the latest Tower Talk and saw a section on a brand of Asian ARF we're seeing mentioned more and more here. The first line of the descriptive paragraph caught my eye...

"Pre-built of lightweight woods..."

Aha! THIS must be the infamous bamboo ARFs I've been reading about, that change shape while you watch when left out in the sun. What a hoot!

Let's see; balsa is a "lightweight wood", right? Yup. So is bamboo, Vietnamese sapwood, etc., etc. They never SAID it was balsa, right?

If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.

Yup, I got a nice stack of various RC publications at work. Helps when you need a mid morning break, after the coffee kicks in.
