Fast, may I know what is the name of the plane on this cover? I though it was Circus, but it is not... I searched the RCM plans service, and the Circus is a high wing plane...
Looks interesting, considering the year (1967). Seriously, I am talking about the plane...
Thanks and regards

RE: Has RCM folded?
I ordered plans on Aug 8th from the RCM web site. I got an email confirmation, but no plans after 10 days. They haven't take the money either. I tried to call the 800 number and the tool number and got rings, but no answer at 1pm in the afternoon. I'd say they are history. Maybe some one will buy it?

Hmmmm, I just checked their website... www.rcmmagazine.com and there is less on it... I also can't find the little disclaimer that says that they are trying to negotiate a sale of the magazine. That could be good or bad.
I'd better check my magazine covers again. Remind me in a day or so and I'll find something to scan and upload.

I felt that way too. Always felt that it was one to be read by the 'better informed' RCer. But times change, and the economics of the industry are what change what RCM (and other magazines) turned into. If you were to read a vintage magazine from the 50's, 60, 70's or 80's, it would be much different from what you see today.

Yes indeed whaat a magazine RCM with its models on most each month cover AND informative cutting edge techniques, applications and news ...
I basically quit buying hobby magazines when 'Radio Control Modeler Magazine ceased publishing.'
It seems unlikly RCM could continue all operations unless the VERY talented columists of late, such as Ken Willard 'Sunday Flyer',Cunningham on R/C ,Art Johnson's 'Scale Views.' could be replaced with current "authorities in there field of R/C expertise.
To the very end of RCMs publishing Contributing Editor Don Lowe our former AMA president etc etc presented a typical RCM collumn: informative and cutting edge,in Don's case Aerobatics was the topic which exemplified the magazines progressive nature-
The biggest mistake I might ever of made was throwing out some of my RCM magazines[8D]
*****now wares the srll ceck??????
