Default Hobby Pople & Quantum Models?

I was just notified by Hobby People of an order being shipped out. The e-mail was from Quantum View which is how Quantum Models notified you of a shipment. The email reads" This message was sent to you at the request of Hobby People....". I wonder if they have joined forces or one bought out the other. I have tried to place an order on Quantum for the past several weeks with no success; I finally ordered directly from Airborne ( World) Models. Has anyone else noticed this?

Mike,
All of my orders from Quantum used Quantumview notification. They were always UPS shipments. That is an interesting comment abpout FED Ex which I didn't know about.

I have never ordered anything from Quantum, but I have had Quantumview notifications from other places I have ordered. It always confused me.

I've had a couple of BAD experiences with Quantum and will NEVER use them again.

Really POOR service.

QuantunView has nothing to do with Quantum Models. It is a company that does e-mail notification and tracking of packages for various shipping companies.

I don't think Quantum View has anything to do with Quantum Models, other than Quantum Models may use Quantum View. I have received emails from Quantum View pertaining to the shipping of items that are in no way connected to RC.

Eric

Ed beat me to it.

There is no relationship between Quantum Models and HobbyPeople/Global Hobbies other than apparently the service being used to report shipments, which as has been pointed out has nothing to do with either company.
