Default ATTN: Computer Geeks...need help!

If any of you can give me a bit of insight, I'd appreciate it. Here's the problem I'm having...

I'll use RCU as an example....In MS Internet Explorer (v 6.0), when I log on to a webpage, everything comes up fine. As soon as I click on any link or, in RCU's case, a thread embedded picture I want to see full sized, I get a standard IE window on top of the main page window, just like I should, but it's totally blank! No amount of waiting will see it load, and I usually just close it. Any ideas?

My system is Windows XP Pro, Cable modem, IE v 6.0.

I have tried playing with all my settings, and nothing seems to work. I just had the Cable modem installed the other day, so that's the only thing different. I used to be on dial-up, and it always worked fine. It's really frustrating...

Thanks in advance,
John

Go to help at the top of the window when explor is open click help then click online support. It will take you to microsoft for help with your issue. I am running cable and XP Pro also no problems.

Default r1morris, you rock!

That did the trick. Downlaoaded and installed the IE service pack for v 6.0 and that was the cure! Thanks a bunch!
