Transporting a 40% Plane in a Minivan
I'd like to re-size my fleet. If you've been able to transport your 40%'er in your minivan, I'd like to know how you did it. I have 103" from the rear window to the seat backs, and if I can take the stabs off and put the tail between the two front seats, it might work. The front seats are electric and can't fold down.('98 Chrysler Town & Country) If I can't make it fit, I'll stick with what I have for now.
I currently have 1 33% (Hangar 9 Sukhoi) and 1 30%(Lanier Edge) that I fly regularly, I get both of these in the van, no problem. I'd like to sell these two, go with one 40% and one 50cc size plane.
Ideas? Suggestions?

RE: Transporting a 40% Plane in a Minivan
Eugor,
I'd love to have the new T&C with the stow and go. I'm getting tired of taking out/putting back the seats. However, I bought my wife a new Ford Explorer, gave my 22yr. old son my '98 Dodge Dakota and I have the '98 Town and Country. I lost one plane from the bed of the Dakota (no canopy). Now that I know that the 40% will fit, I just need to figure out which one to get, and then sell the other two.
