Default FLYBOY and our new plane

Just wanted to post this picture of our new plane and me. Also wanted to say thanks again for all the support you have all given. I can still only stand for a few minutes, but considering they said I wouldn't live and then said I wouldn't walk, I am not going to complain. Long road ahead. Still working on the walking, but I flew my stik 60 this weekend and you can't believe the feeling.

I sure appreciate all the support you all gave. Thanks a Million!

That's a fine looking plane, but what's nicer is how far along you are on the road to recovery.

Congrats.

Great to see you getting right back on that horse, Ed. Mark Brubaker came down this weekend to our field. We had a great time flying on Saturday, and your name was mentioned once or twice. I'm betting he will reply to this thread too. Keep on healing up, and you'll be flying that new beauty before long.

Glad to see that you continue to improve and feel better. The new plane is a beauty. Like Minnflyer I too don't know if I could get back on that horse after what you went through. Truly amazing story and inspirational.

Thanks guys. Kinda looks like a modified twin star? hahaha. You get to montana, we will go flying one way or the other! It was really a great feeling just to be up in it again. Hopefully, they left the instruction manual in the box this time instead of in a filter! Not cool.

Ed,
Awesome plane! Good to hear you flew some RC, bet it feels awesome! Randy and I had a good time flying this weekend, hope we can all get together and burn some fuel! We were thinking of you, wondering how you were doing, and if you were flying.
Again, great job with the recovery, glad your getting back in the saddle when you can.

Mark

Nice looking plane there Ed. I'm glad that you are able to even post that pic as well and get back into the cockpit as well as wiggle the RC stiks again.
