HELP, online hobby shops?
I have grown up using Tower hobbies as my on-line hobby store but they do not have a lot of stuff that I want like JR, satio, hanger 9, the company that makes the Dago Red mustang, just to name a few. I want to find an online hobby store that has other brands. I buy a lot of my stuff from my local hobby store but I need to be able to look at the on-line stores to make sure I am not getting ripped off too bad. Thanks for your suggestions

Online Hobby shop
Try Hobbie People at http://www.hobbypeople.net/
I just orderd an ESC from them last week. They have an 800 number and are very accomodating.

HELP, online hobby shops?
I think JR has a pretty solid lock on the retail prices here in the USA. Might as well pay the going rate at your local hobby shop, and help keep them afloat.
If you can't find JR locally, try:
http://www.horizonhobby.com/air/
I believe they are the national distributor, but maybe someone can enlighten me.
I'd be curious to know what kind of agreement hobby shop owners have to sign to carry JR stuff. Or is this subject to non-disclosure??
For fasteners....I'll give a plug to RTL...Man, those little nuts and bolts I used to spend a fortune on, just cuz I didn't think far enough ahead about the small stuff...
I dropped about a $100 with these folks....Now I put my local Home Depot to shame with what really counts...Those 4-40, 6-32, 1/4-20 hex screws, and nuts, blind nuts, nylon bolts and washers, whatever.....

For batteries and (and servos, maybe), don't even think about any place else:

That's the old site address, but it still works. Dave Thacker is an honest R/C enthusiast. You may place an order while he's on the road at an R/C show and think he is screwing around.
Hang in there, it's worth the wait. Great quality and price.
Two more I have used and been pleased with:
http://www.rc-dymond.com/
For the Dymond Superturbo charger.
and for servos, in addition to radical R/C, check this one out:

OK...I took the time to say where I have shopped on line. How 'bout the rest of you guys...
