I have never heard of any nitro RC snowmobiles being marketed. It would be fun though, especially after getting 6" of fresh powder this morning.

Hello there i think i can help you out. There is a company that makes a rc gas powered snowmobile. I actually had one with a .21 ofna motor in it. Went pretty good in the snow. The company name is Nitro Elements. The name of the snowmobile is ArtAttack.

About eight years ago a guy in canada built five 1/5th scale models of the Ski-Doos. They had weadwacker engines in them and ran really good. My dad got a hold of one, $1,500. It was not cheap but this thing is a blast to play with when you wake up in the morning the new fallen snow. I can't get pictures, my dad has it and he is in Michigan and I am in Virginia.

I don't know if this will help at all, but at the Toledo RC show, I happened to take a couple pics of some RC snowmobiles both in 2002 and 3. In the 2003 shot, you might be able to pic something off the paperwork. What hopefully will happen is someone else who attended the show might remember seeing these and have more info for you. The 2003 were nitro, and the 2002 looks like electric.

Good Luck.
