Default Need a windsock replacement

I've been googling for an hour and can find no normal windsock. All I find are those colorful ones with streamers coming off them. About 3 years ago, there was a guy on Ebay selling them for $40. These were like 10" in diameter and maybe 40 inches long. Anybody know where I can find just a plain orange windsock with those dimensions?

Where's your sense of adventure? You could get seasonal ones and change them for each holiday. Don't you think your fellow club members would enjoy leprechauns, easter bunnies, and other festive socks? If not, try eBay, search on aviation windsock. That seemed to reduce the chaff.

We've had great luck with the one's we've gotten from Aircraft Spruce and Supply. They hold up well in the Wyoming winds.

I see. Would I find those in the 'Log Chains' section?

Maybe you'd get more results on Google if you spelled it correctly.

You've got it Deadeye. When the chain stands straight out we fly the Road Runner with the small block Chevy .

Seriously, the socks from Aircraft Spruce and Supply have lasted about 4 years in our winds.

Just ordered the 8"X30" sock from Scotts (Aircraft Spruce). Went with the 8" because that is the size of our present hoop. Scotts never said if theirs come with mounting hardware. I assume they do not. Thanks again, guys!
