How do you land?
Thinking of my flying (haven't got out in a while so I'm craving for some flight time) I was noticeing that for me it feels more comfortable to land by touching the closer main gear then settling down on the rest.
what about the rest of you? do you like to touch one main, all three, just the mains?

Agree with Tedster - depends entirely on the model.
With a trike, I'll always land mains first; with a taildragger, it varies enormously. With a new model I try all types of landings, and use whetever works best for that model. For instance, my Ultimate bipe lands best (for me anyway) in a three-pointer; my mini-hots behaved best when landed on the mains only, with the tail held up to the point where it was horizontal (incidence-wise); my Su-26 lands best when landed on the mains with the tail being held just slightly tail low on the approach, then released to go tail-level right at the moment of touch-down.
Each one has its own traits.

Depends
I usually set the avistar down on all three at once.
But depending on the cross wind it could be wing tip first then one wheel then the other wheel then the other wing tip and back and forth until all three wheels finally take hold as the speed bleeds off slowly and the plane becomes stable enough to breath again.

There is another option...comming from a combat pilot...and that's skidding on the belly without landing gear. However, living in Kansas with an average 20 mph wind...most of our landings are just "plop" weather on the belly or the gear

How do you land?
I will land with the upwind main first sometimes. But usually if it is a slow plane and there is a strong crosswind. That big H9 Cub is a ball to land in a slip. However, if the plane is fast, I can't think fast enough to land in a slip unless I've been doing it alot lately. i have a Cap232 and I'll slip it sometimes, but only if there is a very strong crosswind, otherwise I'm too lazy!!! Can I pick two answers?
