D & J electronics in Ohio. They are usally at some of the local swaps here in Michigan and provide a free service while at the swap. http://www.********aces.com/Swapshop.html

Default Yes

On several occasions. I've called there and spoken to the tech that was working on my equipment. They are very user friendly and service oriented. Who steered you away, and why?

I like to use Peter Waters at KMI in Michigan. I get excellent service and good pricing too... I sent my 8U Super in for a gimbal repair and tune up. Total cost was $30.00 plus shipping. My radio has never range checked better!

I'm pretty sure Kraft Midwest is KMI. I don't know that he has retired... I last had my radio serviced in September 2002... I think that Peter only works in the summer as he "flies" south for the winter... Maybe some one will have more info?

Radio South were great to me, even though I didn't believe them at first and I was a jerk. They refunded my money and fixed my radio for free. Later, when I realized an aileron extension wire had failed, I realized they were correct and I mailed them another check. Patient folks!! Know what they are doing!!!

I sent a receiver to Radio South because it had been in a crash. The case was busted and I wasn't sure if it was ok yet. He charged $30 to fix it up and a new one cost $60 so I was satisfied. It worked just fine when I got it back.
