Smartmouth "Buyers" Room-mate
This is a note aimed at RCADMIN in advance in case I get a bad review on the rating thing.
*Last week I posted a couple engines for sale for a friend of mine.
Two individuals responded and they were basically sold. The checks showed up Wednesday. I got the engines Thursday and Packed them up today.
*One buyers address was no problem. Packed it up and ready to go to Alaska. The other guy's address had a number which was unclear if it was a 7 or a 9. So I went thru 15 minutes of effort in getting his phone number in Pennsylvania.
*After i believe I had it, I made the call. Some guy answered the phone. I aske if this was the buyer (name with-held ) and he abruptly said "no!". I then asked if he lived here and he turned in asked what do i want. I said i was trying to locate this (name) and gave him the address and wanted to check the number.
* He said a couple more smart ass things and I finally lost it and told him I want to send him his engine today and wanted to check the address. I told this clown that I will now mail it out next week sometime when I get around to it.
* So, one package is on its way to Alaska and the other is in the garage. Maybe right, maybe wrong and yeh its the holidays but I believe I made a healthy effort here. Take care.

Hm.
So long as the buyer sent out his $$ in good faith and on time I think you need to send off his engine in a timely manner. Regardless of the actions of his wise-ass roommate.

I don't know about that one. I would still be in a mess. Everyone i talk to would receive their product "late."
