Vortac Bombs & release Mechanisms
I have three of the release mechanisms and Bombs too. I have the plain released mechanism too. I have had them for a couple of years and kept them as a someday project.
I just bought the orange bombs in November from an old hobby shop in Hillsboro Oregon. He had them hanging on a hook for many years. If you want all of stuff e-mail me direct and maybe we can work out a deal.

Hi Dino:
First time I have seen your name on the board. Don't have any bomb drops, but I can wish you "Happy Holidays" anyway. I see your name in the magazines often - just keep building those magnificent models. We flew five of the original 25 year old Bristol Scouts at the STARS meet this past summer.

Vortec Bomb release
I will check out Yellow Aircraft and see what they have. WWI Lozenge fabric is for use on model airplanes. If you a building a scale WWI aircraft you would not use the coverite. It's not right!
ANY WAY I'M NOT SURE I FORGIVE YOU FOR SELLING THE MASTER SCALE DAUNTLESS TO SOME STRANGER! Dino

I have some OD green coverite I will GIVE you, for god's sake, don't do this! Don't you have that old Aerotec Albatross? That would be fine for the lozenge fabric!
The Dauntless, jeez...a great kit, but a bear to build. Which is why you sold it to ME in the first place!
I'm getting the Heritage one, laser cut, and smaller. Not as nice, though. The Master Scale Dauntless really raised the bar when it came out.

Green Coverite?
The Master Scale Dauntless was not a Bear to Build. It just required some time, patience and skill.
The Albatross is gone!
The Antic will look great with the lozenge covering.

I have a VorTac bomb release and a orange bomb. The release mechanism is a little over 2" long with 2 posts to connect to the servo. The bomb is 2 piece with 2 notched posts that latch into the mechanism. The bomb splits on impact. Mine was used on a Dyna Flite PT-19. The bomb was filled with flour and it landed and split in the middle of our greasy asphalt runway. I was told to get the mess cleaned up right away. It took about a dozen milk jugs of water and a lot of brooming to get it cleaned. Some of the flour stayed around forever and club said never again on the runway. I dismantled it from the plane and here it is right on my computer center just like new.
