I use a long screw driver with a buggered tip and about 8 feet of parachute cord with loops in both ends. Parachute cord is STRONG and a long screw driver stuck in the ground takes a lot of shear force. Cost: about 50 cents. (The screw driver is discounted because the tip is bad.)

These are all tail traps which don't help when you are using an electric starter to start the engine. Would love to see some contraception to hold the plane from going back when pressure of the starter is applied on the spinner.....
