Nice one Venom..
You may add arrows using any image editing software.. I used Photoshop, this beast isn't the best for simple things like this. You may use the Imaging progaram that comes with Windows

Hi Guys - I don't know if you'd be interested, but I've been creating a database of RC Club Runway locations using coordinates. To date I have the center of the runway of 1075 clubs, the majority of them being AMA and in the States. One thing that goes along with this thread is I already have a link to Google Maps showing the the sat images. Some are in high res, some are in the low res. I have them saved to an Excel file which you down load if you want. I also have a bunch of other stuff captured, Club names and web site links, a Terra Server sat image as well as a weather link.
Just go to [link=http://groups.msn.com/PuttsRCHomePage/]Putts RC Home Page[/link]. I have one page that kind of tells about my little project and a folder called Documents which contains the Excel files. I have the files broken down by AMA Dist for easier and speedier downloading.
If anybody does look at it, and they don't see their club listed and would like me to add it, PLEASE give me either driving directions and I'll determine the coordinates myself, or, just give me the Latitude Longitude to make it even easier.
I'll be watching this thread pretty close.
When you do post an image, include your clubs name and other info

Here is our field in Gillette, Wyoming. Home of the Sagehopper's R/C Club and our CamPort Field (AMA #1421). We have a paved prevailing wind runway NW x SE which is 500ft x 50ft (crack sealed in the last two weeks. The other W x E runway is packed gravel, and is 700ft x 50ft. Covered area with 6 picnic tables in the shade. Many plane stands throught out the pitts. We just completed pouring 14 Cu Yds of new concrete sidewalks starting our handicap access project. I'm proud to say we've got a very proactive Club, young and old alike.
We are located at:
44.277452 Latitiude
-105.421744 Longitude
at an Elevation of 4600 ft.
We are using RCU as our clubs website, so you can see some more picutres there of the actual field if you'd like
Your all more then welcome to bring a plane and come and visit us for a great day of flying (If your coming from lower elevations you might want to bring a little higher octane fuel )

Ain't from a satelite, but it's the Tucson Radio Control Club from a heli-cam. The man on the extreme left is flying the heli, and I'm standing next to him triggering the camera.

WoW .. some of them looks like real runways with taxi ways..

The big building in the middle is the outhouse, the others are picnic shelters and the lawn mower shed, and the isolated area way out to the right is where the heli guys fly.

Good idea. Two pics of our small site in Elk City Ok. We are proud of it beacause we average about 10 members a year. We paid for it all through donation and fly-in income from concessions. The runway is 45'x500 of Petromatt. Plus three taxi ways and a ramp. The white is two sun shades the brown in the center is club house and bathrooms. We are on city owned land. The big pic shows the stock car track and MX track.

Hi All - I have been able to add two more fields to my list due to the posts by daveopam and red baron 99, thanks guys I now have around 1077 RC Clubs located by coordinates world wide (majority of them AMA in the lower 48).
LOL, saramos, I like your group shots. Since some of you are using Google Earth, I thought I'd share my version of a group shot of the US with all the clubs I've found posted on it. I need to get rid of the text after you reach a certain zoom factor though because it's covering up most of the planes representing club locations.
If any of you are interested in my Google Earth .KMZ file, I have it posted on their forum website at - [link=http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/402368/page/0]Putts Google Earth RC Club File[/link]. I try and keep this file in sync with my excel spreadsheet.
Keep them coming guys, I like seeing all of the different places folks call there little piece of paradise

Hello; Well here's our flying field, you can't see the telephone wires and hydro wires that go down the driveway and across our flight line. This could be a valuable tool to help find lost planes if they would update the pictures a little more often. As near as I can figure, this picture is at least 2 years old, even though I just downloaded it this morning. Each of the fields are 22 acres.
