Tower Hobbies now accepts PayPal
I don't have any affiliation with Tower, other than being a customer. Just thought I would pass this info along to those who prefer to use PayPal and may have opted to not order from Tower because they did not previously offer PayPal. I also see that Towers Sister site Omni Models is also accepting PayPal. I am not trying to drum up business for Tower or Omni, just wanted to pass on some info that may be usefull to other modelers who may search out sites that accept PayPal.

If PayPal was in any way regulated by the government or under the laws governing credit cards I might be interested. Until then a credit card works just fine.

Yeah, I got the notice too. I don't get the big whoop. If I pay with PayPal, it charges my credit card anyway. I think PayPal is good when doing business with an individual where you don't want to get a cashiers check or money order, payment is almost instantanious. I'm like CK, I'll keep using my credit card. That way, if anything goes wrong, you've always got some kind of recourse with the Credit Card company.

RE: Tower Hobbies now accepts PayPal
I never do a credit card transaction through PayPal. If I was going to use a credit card to order from tower, I would bypass PayPal and just use the pay by credit card option. PayPal comes in handy for me because I do a fair amount of selling in the various Marketplaces. Alot of the funds that accumulate in my PayPal account get transfered to my bank account, but I always leave some available in case I come across a site that has something I want that accepts PayPal. Its a quick transaction that does not run up the balance on my credit card. So there are cases where PayPal is a good option, if you have a balance already sitting in your PayPal account, and there are cases where it would be best to bypass PayPal. I just wanted to pass the info along so that people who do like to use PayPal, and have PayPal balances, now have the option to blow some of that balance at Tower Hobbies.
