What's the next hot plane
Seem's like every year or two a new plane comes out that takes over the flying scene. A few years back it was the Cap 232, then the Extra's, then the 540 Edge. Bi-Planes made what seemed like a appearance.
Now the Yak. So what's next. I would like to get ahead of the curve this time. I'm talking about glow, gas and electric. Let's have some feedback on this one.

RE: What's the next hot plane
There have been a bunch of Katanas around for a little while.
I think the yak is still the it plane.
Maybe the Sukhoi could be next? There have been a few kits of it out there but not to the extent of the extras, edges, etc.

Yeah, I agree. Ev'ry body flyin' should have or own(ed) the following planes:
1. yellow Cub ,any flavor
2. Sig Kadet
3. P-51, any flavor

I think the Sukhoi is about to make a long overdue reappearance. The round cowl planes just roll too well to be ignored, and a lot of people are just about Yakked to death.
I'm flyin a large Sukhoi now and have found it to be quite a fine airplane. I would think versions slightly larger and much smaller will follow by about the first of the new year from various manufacturers.

LOL.....if this could really be predicted, we'd sure be on it like white on rice.....
As it is, all of the various Team members report what they see and what people are talking about, and we hope we make the right choices. Sometimes we do, and sometimes we don't. Just like any other manufacturer.....

The Cub is a good idea. If everyone had a Cub they would be forced to learn how to use the rudder.
I had a guy come out to the field with a 100" Cub that had been flying all the usual plank wing 40 and 60 size aerobats and he was convinced he knew how to fly. u would have laughed your butt off at the first few attempts to take off. Rudder, what rudder? Once it got into the air it was a catastrophe waiting to happen. Bank left, bank right, and little would happen. Rudder, what rudder? I had to land it for him.

No!!!!! Please no more cubs.......
I promise to be good boy and fly with the left stick if it means I dont have to get one.
BTW I am becoming a hack pattern flyer and have been working hard on using rudder.
