Some lighting kits have a strip of lights adhered to the suface by clear tape. If you are going to rascal "Do it right" strip it and deck it out: landing, taxi w alternative color on each wing. There are many ways to do it.
I was introduced night flying by using a Zagi 400x. Its pratical a practical aircraft because you will crash! It is epp foam and always flys the next night. These aircraft are also good in the winter if you are trapped like me here in ILL.. 13 degrees right now. You don't need to warm up the engine. we have even flown from inside a car to stay warm. Think of the alternative to crashing a rascal. This plane will keep you sharp in the winter.
