Pulsejet Dragster
OK after 4 weeks of checking the door for the package my pulsejet fiannaly came today!!! so heres my plan i want to build a "dragster" chassie for it. Let me know what you think and if you have any tips on how to build/what to do special with the fuel....etc.... ohh and please dont say "take that engine of theat car and stick it on a plane" i want to do something diffrent and ive seen pics of a pulsejet boad and lots of planes but no dragsters. I am probably going to run a whole bunch of ideas by you guys/gals to see what your opinion is on it. First thing of all what should i do now that i have the engine?

RE: Pulsejet Dragster
Sorry to drag up an *old* thread but I was Googling and came across this message. If you want a full-sized pulsejet dragster then check this out, it looks like it's real comfortable :-)

RE: Pulsejet Dragster
Where do you plane on running it? Unless you are near a dry lake bed I think you'll be SOL. They run them on tether cars in Whittier and clock them close to 200mph I believe.
I've watched a control line speed contest where they ran pulse jets and it was one of the coolest things I have seen in this hobby (and I'm pretty jaded).
