I was thinking....all the new guys n gals who wanted to hook up with a local club/ field, somehow be able to compile a list, kinda like the AMA clubfinder. The difference being, when you click on that club, being able to see if a registered member here on RCU belongs to that field, and, if that clubmember would want to (make it an option in profile) be available to get hold of the new people(via pm/ email) and give them a hand.

Any ideas?

Good Idea and another step toward promoting a great hobby.
Also members of RCU who are trainers could have a special avatar or a second one that indicates this.

Thanks Glowplug....Its good the AMA has the club finder, but I think RCU would be a more personal touch. Make the transition into flight a little easier. I know this site has helped me lots.

Great Idea and I agree with the points made so far. I know after spending time on this sight I would feel good about hooking up with an RCU member at any new club.

Me too Sands...I'm really looking forward to try to get together and fly with more people from this site.....already have with a few.......maybe even Groundforce will make a trip to Midway, PA to fly with us! Great group of folks here.
