RC Flying Disk Question
I plan to build a RC flying disk out of depron foam and have it electrically powered engine. Are there any plans for it and where the CG should be? I prefably want to make it look like a UFO. The flying disk I have seen, look like regular airplanes with the engine in front or with a fuselage. I want to do something unusual . Thanks.
PS: I have heard there was a RC flying disk kit called Roun-tuit. Does anyone know about this kit?

Geobat flying saucer
I took the pic. at a vendor's booth at Sun & Fun EAA flying event, Lakeland, Fl last year. Here is
another pic. of the gas version, .40 power I think. The electric version was powered by a Astroflight 15 cobalt with a shaft extension if my old memory is correct. You can visit the web site for the designer at and his name is Jack Jones. He sells the plans to scratch build. Try one, it is out of this world!

RC Flying Disk Question
Interesting plane. From the picture it looks like there are two ailerons on each side and the elevator in the back. Is one servo controlling both ailerons?

Two aileron sevos
If you scroll back up the thread, you will see a pic. that I attached of the electric version. There it appears that each aileron has its own servo. You can also go to the web site www.geobat.com for more details.
