Ok, I'm gonna show my ignorance.
3D..... What is that?
Isnt all flying 3D? Up/down, left/right, forward/backward.
As I understand that those are the 3 dimensions (notice the 4th one, TIME is missing!)
I am just not understanding what folks mean when they say "3D flying". Yes I have been a RC pilot for many years (including Heli's). This is just one of those things I never really 'got'. I always thought all flying was 3D, and now more than ever folks talk about 3D like its something new, and special manuvers...
Wanting to know and 'go' 3D... help me out please!!

from what i gather, 3d is doing aerobatics with zero airspeed. hovering and such. thats what ive been told. hey btw gonna send you an app for pilot status.

Thanks... I guess on of the problems of the most popular message board in RC history is that a thread will get lost very soon. I would have NEVER EVER gone to look for that one.. Maybe I should learn to search a bit first before asking so many DUMB questions!
