Hi All,

Don't know if anyone else is having these problems or if it is just my puter. I know there was some server problems last night. Last night I was on and viewing the Photo Gallery/Giant Scale and when I got to page 8 it started hanging and telling me XX items remaining. Well it is still doing that tonight. I get to page 8 and it just hangs.


JUST a HEADS Up!!!!


Please let me know if this is due to my puter or the server.

I am even having that problem in the Member's Gallery too. Well Glad it isn't only me. I sent Marc a PM the other night and have not heard anything as of yet.

same problem here, only it happens on page 4. Computer just freezes up.

anybody out there not have this problem? I am going to have a tough time fixing this one because it doen't happen on my system at all. I can go all the way up to page 16 without a hiccup

I had that problem until I downloaded Netscape Navigator. Using Netscape to view the photos works great. Using Explorer I get to about page 4 or so and it would hang up. Same thing happens at work using a completely different computer system with Explorer. (I somehow hit a wrong key at work and somehow ended up at RCU. Honest!)

Yup, mine hangs on page 8 also.

Then I had to get completely out because lost all graphics. Just had text available.

Okay after getting out of RCU then come back to home page of RCU.

Could not even use edit button....to add text. Button was not visible.

what if you go direct to page 9? are you going in order? I just tested on Mac IE 6 and PC version IE 6 and no trouble going anywhere in the gallery?

Describe the exact steps you take to get this problem (what order of pages are you clicking and how many?)

Also what browser version you use.

What if you skip page 8 or the one that gives trouble?

Marc, when I click another page to bypass the troubled page(s) I get basically the same thing however if I wait alittle longer it does go through eventually.

I have gone in numerical order all the times so far and get the same thing some of the time. I am usin IE 6.0.

I will try again in alittle while but get a fresh boot and try to skip the troubled pages.

Got to page 18 with no probs, and didn't try to go farther...

I just went straight to page 9, it worked fine all the rest of the way to last page.
If I go from page 1 and work page by page to 8 it hangs at 8, and I lose all the graphics again.

I'm using IE6 with pc operating system XP, Road Runner connection.

Marc, I'm not a computer whiz or anything, but I think I might know why this is happening. When someone tries to view the pictures on the gallery, those pictures get stored into the temporary internet files folder. I am suspecting the when we all get to page 8, the hard drive space that we have specified to use for graphics from the internet has been exceeded. After the problem occurs, when I try to go to other sites with lots of pictures, none of the pictures on those sites work either. I am not quite sure how to fix this problem, but I am pretty sure that this is the reason for our problems.
