Information on getting shipping boxes from UPS
bought e RC engines on ebay last week. Seller and I both estimate a box 12x14x8 is needed to fit 3 Homelite 33. I look on UPS site and see that boxes are available, cost FREE.
This does not seem correct. What am I missing? Need to get shipment started, no I have not paid as he has not finalized shipping costs.

Ask at your local PO. If they have them on hand, they will give you one or several. I think there are some boxes you can get a bunch of delivered to your door for free. The Priority Mail tape is free also. Priority Mail stuff is only to be used for Priority Mail. People used to turn the boxes inside out for parcel post, etc. Now they say Priority Mail on the inside. I did get one box several years ago which was turned inside out----and then sent Priority Mail. Never did figure that one out.

Well I can understand the printing inside. I will lhave to ask Seller if he considered checking directly with UPS for a shipping box. I wonder if UPS furnishes free boxes in locales that also have their subsiduaary Mail Boxes Etc.?
