Who buys these wonderful airplane gifts for you guys?

Is it your wives or other family members?

I never get squat for airplanes n stuff.

If 'Santa' is not doing this, then maybe he should start thinking about strategy a little more
Nope. That ain't it. She always gets plenty of what she asked for.
If Santa is leaving plenty of what she asked for and Santa wants RC toys to be under the tree then its Santa's own fault if there are not any. Santa cannot leave important matters like this in his helpers hands if they have proven to be unreliable

Got a band saw and a new drill press and a couple of accessories. Maybe I'll get the lathe on ground hog day...

I think it is not so much Santa getting plenty of what she asked for but in reality Santa correct guess what she really wants from what she tells Santa that she wants, thankfully that is quite easy, it goes something like this,

What she says: I am not bothered just get me something nice.
What she means: You had better get me some jewellery

What she says: Surprise me
What she means: Surprise me with diamonds or any other valuable stones

What she says: Something useful
What she means: Gift card to a shoe shop

Now the one all of us should dread

What she says: If you love me you would know what I want
What she means: I have been telling you what I want for the last 2 months and if I don't get it, I am going to throw away all of your RC stuff and move my mum into your hanger/garage.

Basic rule here, buy expensive jewelery (in her perception which is about 3x what she normally spends), you will get plenty of what you want, in more than RC terms, I know last time I did that for my ex-girlfriend, I thought some one had replaced her, and it lasted for a long time, by her standards.

BTW I got a plane (well my parents provided the money) and a gift card to the LHS. I had a great Christmas.

1 MAS 11x6.....and I'm giddy as a schoolgirl...Well, Santa did stop at the LHS and order me my first. A Hanger 9 Arrow will be here when the backorder is caught up. My grandpa flew when I was a youngun and the bug has finally caught up with me. Talk to ya'll when it arrives and I get to open my present. Happy New Year All

Maybe your dating the wrong women then. This is actually the second vehicle a person I was dating bought me. The first was in 2000 when I got a Ford F-250 Diesel for my birthday and I still drive it.

This time I got a 2007 Ford Mustang GT500 that she ordered back in June and it came in to the dealer on Friday before Christmas. I actually drove by and saw them unloading it and commented to her about it. My dad drove up in it about 2 hours later - she can't drive a stick so my dad went over and delivered it for her.
