finding channel with frequency
I read on here some where a simple mathmatical equation to find a crystals channel if you have the frequency. And I forgot the formula does any one know that formula.

finding channel with frequency
Jim:
Subtract 72.01 from the frequency, divide the result by 0.02, add the quotient to 11.
Example:
72.750 MHz, - 72.010= 0.74.
Divide 0.74 by 0.02= 37.
37+11= channel 46.
Go the other way:
Channel 46-11= 34
34x0.02=0.74
72.01+0.74= 72.750MHz.
Surface freqs work the same way, but starting frequency is 75.410, and the channel number to add/subtract is 61.
Okay?
Please use a legal frequency,
. Avoid a visit from the FCC.
