New Flying site campaign - Tunica MS
To all RCU members, join in and help me campaign for a flying site at Tunica Mississippi at The Grand Casino Tunica. "If they build it we will come".
Positive comments will make the difference.
Send The Grand Casino your emails and let them know we exist out here and would like to see Big Events in this area. This would give us RC nuts a place to meet, fly, and compete if that's what we want.
The Grand Casino is not far from allot of you guys and gals out there. If the prize money is half as good as it is for Softball Tournaments then I'm sure you Professional Pilots would drive the distance.

Here is a response to one of my emails:
"Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and insight in RC devices with us here at Grand Casino Tunica. It sounds rather interesting, certainly something I'm not very knowlegeable in.
If you would be so kind as to forward to me some information, I would be happy to review it and get back with you on any potential possibilities.

We have their ear! Now I need to put together a presentation for them to look at. You guys, this could be a mile stone for our hobby! Have a Wonderful site just for the Hobby of RC. Put on events during the day and party at the Grand Casino Tunica at night!
It wouldn't hurt if some of the Corporate RC Manufactures could give us a few good suggestions or better yet, email me some statistics on how our hobby has grown and the events attendance of such events.
Any suggestions or comments?

If there was such a site would you go there to see your Friends fly and maybe join them?
The events don't have to be all competition. Fun Fly's, Fly In's, Nationals, what ever you reserved the flying site for is up to you and your organization.
Please NOTE: I am not looking for a following here. I personally don't have any interest in segregating my self from other RC events, I just don't have much time to travel long distances to see and take part in other events going on now at personal sites in the US.
I feel that a neutral site of this sort would benefit the Sport of RC and bring us all closer together as a whole group and not just one special interest in the RC hobby.
