Back issue of RCM needed
I am trying to locate a back issue of RCM from Jan 1967. I am trying to locate a copy of the article on the Pitts Special by Nick Ziroli. I have the Plans but RCM no longer has the issue.

You may find this hard to believe, but my son just ordered and recieved these plans from RCM. If this article is about building the plane, I to would also like a copy of the article. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks Dave

Pitts Plans
I got the narritive with the plans as you said but I guess its a nastalgia thing on wanting to find a copy the whole article. I remember it being one of the things pinned up on my wall when I was in Jr High.

Try the AMA Library. I just got a construction article from a 1970 RCM issue photocopied and mailed to me by Mr. Rich Legrange, head librarian, email [email protected] . Cost to me was $4.00 and the service was very prompt, plus included everything with the article including the magazine plans.

If you plan on building the Pitts right away would you be interested in having a set of kit parts cut. I used Bob Holman a few years ago and got excellent results.

I have never used a kit cutting service. I wonder how much it cost's. It is my son that is wanting to build the Pitt's. He has the plans layed out and is working on a materials list as we speak. Is it possible to get a copy of the article from RCM? Thanks Dave

I bought the same plans over 12 months ago. I got really bored last Thursday and when I decided I wanted to build something, it was the one I grabed out of the plan's box. It is a dream to build, have it ready for covering now. I found a couple of little things that were not real clear, but all-in-all, it is a great project...
Just interested to see how your progress is...

Back issue of RCM needed
He is reviewing all the paper work and plans getting ready to make a balsa order. It is his first attemp at scratching so I am making do all the leg work on it prior to getting started. He will do just fine. Glad to hear yours is going well. Keep us posted and Thanks Dave

Ziroli Pitts...
I've been real busy with work lately, so the building of the Pitt's has slowed a little...
It needs a little more sanding, but heres what she looks like so far...
There are some things not shown on the plan, and I have also changed a few things, but all-in-all I am quite happy with the result so far. It is very light, so should be a nice flyer...
