I feel for you. I had a lot of problems loading pics into RCU but never looking at them. I went from a dial up to a cable line and bye bye problems. It worked fine for me, just a few seconds.

i wish i could go faster
most of the time it's ok, but at peak ours it's just a pain!
i just think that sites like this should take time to make things as user friendly AP
other sites can do it (RC sites) so why is it in here is always trouble?
i just think that RCU should be addressing these issues. if they can link a sponsor to a word, they can make posts load properly
just my point of view. period

oh one more thing
it's easy "designing" roads for a HUMMER [&:]
it's for the rest of us that roads have to be nicely paved & not too steep [8D]

)2nd- i took me several months before complaining- this problem is ongoing FOR A WHILE NOW
3d- i think these things should be addressed BEFORE they have to be dealt in this manner (bad for me & bad for RCU)

This "bug" is intermittent and rare. if you upload a photo and it does NOT resize then go to the community section or magazine and scroll to bottom of page and note small text which tells you which server you are on (rcu1, rcu2, rcu3 or rcu4). Note this server number and PM it to me asap so I can reboot which fixes resize issue. It does NOT fix retroactively so any images that were uploaded on that one server while the resize faulted have to be reuploaded or they will remain at original uploaded size.
There is no known fix yet to the resize issue but a major software upgrade to our forums coming this quarter or next will use different components for resize and should avoid this issue completely.
