Chip (Gordon) Hyde in Israel
This morning (Saturday) I had the pleasure of meeting with Chip Hyde and to see some of his flying.
Chip is in Israel on businesss and pleasure.
Chip was staying with Ohad Zarko, the leading F3A contender in this country.
He had just won the Cyprus Open F3A competition and went on to beat everyone yesterday, in the Israeli pattern circuit.
When he was only 12 years old, Chip was the youngest person to ever win the US Pattern Masters.
It was an honor to talk with him.
