I would like to take a moment to thank RCU for allowing and providing this forum for people interested in R/C the ability to use and view RCU for free. Not many things are free these days besides junk mail, and especially something that provides such a valuable service like RCU does. Obviously setting up something like RCU wasn't free for whomever was willing to buy all the computers needed, and a software program to run it. I thoroughly enjoy RCU on a almost daily basis, and just wanted to offer my opinion on RCU. I have seen threads that actually criticized RCU, and I couldn't do anything but shake my head. I cannot imagine being so thankless to actually take the time to write a thread to someone providing a free service, to tell them how unhappy they were with RCU.

I feel this service RCU provides to be educational, and very valuable, just wanted to say "THANK-YOU!"

Thank you Todd, that was very nice. A lot goes into running a board this size, things that the member never see's and it does take up a lot of our time. My Moderators I feel do an outstanding job and yes sometimes it's a thankless job, but when we get mail thanking us it makes up for all the other bad mails we get. No we are not perfect and will make mistakes but just remember that we are human and we do the best we can. I have been active as a Moderator for almost 6 years and enjoy what I do, as do all the others. We get complaints, sure, but some will complain that the water isn't cold enough even though they may be dying of thirst, such is the nature of the human beast. We will continue to try and bring you the best board out there and we will continue to serve you the member the best way we know how.

I have no doubt about all the kinds of work and MONEY going into this forum at RCU. I personally dont have a single gripe about RCU, everything about it is positive. I have gotten more knowledge in 2 months on RCU than I thought possible. You can find the answer to anything R/C related here, and if not, just ask and you shall recieve. BRAVO RCU, I COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH YOUR SERVICE!

Ditto. I have been to other sites who have very helpful people, but none seem to have the vast amount of experience and talent as RCU. It's really nice to see how much information is available and freely shared by so many people.

This is what the internet should be used for!

I've been moderators in other forums and have helped with some FTP stuff so I know a fraction of what it must be like to keep this place in tip top shape.

Yes.....this is THE best RC site Ive belonged to since ive been into this sport.
Again...the moderators here, I think, do a great job.

Hi All.... I just wanted to put in my 02 cents worth too. I think this site is Great too!! Thanks everyone for making this so much fun to read and learn on. I would also like to say that yes I do read and go to the advertizements and comericals on this site too, ( I like to see what ever is new and comming out by everyone) and altho I havent bought or sold anything yet on this site(Ive only been here a short time... ), when I do buy or sell anything on this site I will donate the suggested percentage to RCU for providing such a great service!!!!! I remember the first post on the old RCO that announced a new board that would be fast, where the admin would be heavily involved, and that it would fullfill al our online RC chattin' dreams.

Thanks to everyone who replied, RCU really deserves the credit for putting out such a good service. Keep up the good work. RCU is a ideal forum for r/c, where else can you go and look at so many different types of r/c, not to mention all the information on each individual subject? Fantastic job, love the site!

A day without RCU is like a basement without model planes.

Marc and the moderators, support staff, and individual contributors have made RCU the single best source of help and information on this great hobby.

Hats off to you all. You have saved me many frustrations, a good chunk of change, and probably a few planes, as well.
