Default Hobby shops in Las Vegas

Hello

We will be in Las Vegas on Jun 14 thru June 17. Are there any RC hobby shops in or around the Vegas area? I know that I will be looking when we are there, however it would be nice to know in advance.

Thanks for any info, Dan

A little hard to find, as it is in an industrial warehouse building area.
The guy has a lot of stuff. NEW and USED. (Consignments)
Good prices too!

There are two Hobby people's and I think another average type store however Do Not Miss Nice Twice Hobbys listed by hondaguy in post #5. This one of those extremely rare places that defys description and about as far from the typical bubble pack store as possible. It could easily serve as a stand alone vacation destination for any modeler. But warning after walking through the door all thoughts of visiting the casinos will soon evaporate.

Hi, We are planning a holiday to L.A & Vegas in early September and heard about the second hand store for RC cars and parts. Do you know if it still open and have you been there recently?
Also, do you of any swap meets for the same kind of stuff. My husband enjoys restoring vintage 1/10 scale RC cars. Thanks.

Thunder Power is in Las Vegas and they have a store. Up in Summerland off of Iron Horse road there is an awsome flying field.

Don't forget Shelby American. It's not RC related, but they have free tours every weekday at 10:30 I think it is.

Nice Twice Hobbies will closing businesson May 1, 2012

I was informed by a fellow club member who does a substantial
amount of business with them on Mar. 7, 2012

No reason was given, sad to see another good LHS go down.

Happy flyin' Oscar
