Did anyone see that the last edition of The Microhenrys in the April issue of MA? Due to health considerations Ed Henry is quiting the strip. Sorry to hear about that Ed. I'm really going to miss your work .

They were the best thing in MA. In my opinion.

Now I won't have anything to read when Model Aviation arrives. It'll make the round file faster I guess.

Well, they were enjoyable most of the time. I will certainly miss them. Delightful and simple art. I should pick up in his footsteps, and submit some model aviation humor. Like the below...

But the only thing in MA? I suggest you read some of the other print outside the captions....

P.S. This is not a MA rant. I just can't believe that folks won't read MA. I guess when it's not shoved down your throat like the other magazines do (with brilliant flashing colors), you tend to ignore it... I myself read it from cover to cover. There is ALWAYS something worthwhile in every one. I do tend to skim the political columns from the Pres and others, as I don't think they are in touch with the real world, but many of the other columns are really good. As good as you can expect from folks that aren't writers by trade.... And for some, even then it's good stuff. And besides Flying Models, where else will you see coverage of Free Flight and Control Line? Yes, FM is the other mag I subscribe to....

Call me a purist, or at least informed, if a bit odd...

re: "But the only thing in MA? I suggest you read some of the other print outside the captions"

No doubt reading "some of the other print" is what prompted the comments here. I know it prompted mine.

Bashing of the AMA and specifically MA happens quite a bit on the net. I won't further those efforts except to say that a 30 minute session on RCU is more informative than a monthly issue of MA would ever hope to be.

Wellsaid phufstatler, it is just easier for most folks to criticize then compliment. I agree with you, there is lots of good info in Model Aviation.

GEEZ!! People will take any opportunity to bash the AMA.

I will really miss Ed Henry's contributions. It's too bad his health is deteriorating. Hope he's not feeling too bad!
