Default Am I the only ONE????

Am I the only one sitting here on a Saturday afternoon with crappy wx and unable to fly? Got my US 60 programmed and ready to fly.....isn't there any sun anywhere? Those of you in the south i.e. Arizona, California, Florida, etc. need not make me feel worse!

Default Am I the only ONE????

Just got myself a SIG CAP 231ex. A rare bird anyways......its got a G-38 up front, custom built up doublers, electronic ignition, and the previous owner (whom I know) says the engine just keeps getting better. Its balanced with no lead anywhere, cept a wing, inboard of the servo.
Now it is 40 or so outside, but steady soaking rain. Tell me whos got the blues,

crashman232,

The weather in PA wasn't completely terrible today. We made a few flights off the snow (still have a few feet in the area). Overcast skies, mid 30's, but at least no wind.

bdphil, i'm glad to here that you can fly from snow. I myself cannot stand wind and it is always windy at my field. Plus, i have a hard time flyin a plane when it is cold, my fingers won't work unless it is above 50 degree. And i don't want to buy or build skis. I can wait, it sucks, but i can handle it.

It's been snowing here in CO for about 9 days now. It snows just enough at night to keep you from flying in the morning when it's snowing. The water is a welcome sight though, as it is becoming more and more rare. :-)

Will be up your way in two weeks. Taking my son skiing at Copper, Breckinridge, and winter park. I grew up in Lakewood. I figure if I can't fly with the weather here I can always do what one can in snow....ski

Well if there is one nice thing about it hookonrc, you will have some nice skiing snow. They all have about 4-5 new FEET in the last week or so.
Dave p- those aren't very encouraging words. I am transferring up to Grand Forks next year for school. I think not flying (rc at least) and all that snow are going to drive me even more insane!

Yup- the weather in Denver kinda stinks right now.

My house is for sale-- so I been outside shoveling or sweeping the driveway and walks all day today. Been shoveling the driveway and stuff every morning for a week and then again after work too.

I hate the snow. Let it snow up in the mountains. I just can't stand driving in the stuff-- people here are idiots when the roads are clear. Toss in a bit of snow-- and your taking your life in your hands.

Can't wait for the summer to get here.

Where are you at Rcpilet? I'm down in Littleton and I fly out at Chatfield reservoir with the Jeffco Aeromodlers. I agree, let the snow fall in the mountains. I totally agree. Snow makes people turn into idiots!

OK...here we go for another week. It's Tuesday and the forecast is for Mid 50's Sat and Sun, with 6 to 7 mile an hour winds. Got the chargers going ready to fly. Yeah I know it's early, but I am going to be sure I am ready. Of course, it's only Tuesda, what could happen?
