I know in the Macintosh world, when you go to print a document, you have the option of printing to a PDF. In other words, you can make an uneditable PDF document from the print dialog.

Default Thanks for the reply

I just tried to print the pdf I was viewing on the net as a file, but it didn't work. Basically I am looking at some battery specs in pdf format and would like to save what I am seeing. Is there a reason these files can't be saved and viewed later like most other things?
Thanks again_bob

what you have to do is on the PDF page..... left click and highlite all of the text you want then right click and copy......go to word pad note pad and open it up then right click again and click on paste........dont forget to name the doc and save-as.....it should work Tim
