Full Scale AT-6 lands on hwy
I am not the best at posting a link. Maybe someone can do it for me. There is a dashcam video of a full scale AT-6 loosing an engine and landing on the hwy.

While traveling up I-5 through the San Jouaquin Valley of California I once saw a cropduster parked in the grass between the North and South bound lanes. i didn't get to see him land but it must have shaken up a few folks.

I live about a hour and fifteen minutes north of Oshkosh and our local news played the dash cam from the State Patrol over and over and over again. According to the news, the pilot used an "old crop dusting trick" to leap frog over one of the squad cars and land safely after complete engine failure. The State Patrol troopers (2) credited the pilot of the aircraft with oustanding skill & technique. Joe

I am called upon to do Aerial Photography now and then, and I always try to get one of my Duster Pilot friends to fly the camera plane for me. I trust them emphatically. I had a Private Pilot dump us once, completely destroying a brand new Cessna 152 when he hit a tree on Take Off from a dirt strip out in a pasture. From then on I went with the Pros. When I have a job that requires a camera platform down low at or below 700 feet I feel more comfortable with one of those guys. They are, to me, the very pest pilots out there.
