There was one on the show with a man holding a transmitter while a full scale jet flew by and he won first place on that show.

I seen one on there that a guy was landing his trainer and there was a guy on the runway, it was wet or slippery somehow, well, the guy tried to get out of the way and the guy with the plane hit him.

It was bad yet funny at the same time.

Man I have seen a few videos with RC on AFV and with the exception of the full scale fly over (which gave me the idea to take this photo at the bottom) I didnt think ANY of them portrayed safe modelling practices.

One video was a helicopter destryoing itself in the driveway being crashed 3 ft from the family car, 5 ft from a busy street, another one where a person gets hit by a plane, and yet another one of a plane crashing into a house, on a busy street with power lines everywhere...

All I could think is 'what idiots, these are the guys that kill RC'

I agree, I hate seeing those boneheads misrepresenting this hobby.

Although I DID like the guy that caught a fish with a helicopter.

Oh yeah I remember that one... agreed... that was pretty cool.
I thought he hooked the fish first then started the camera...

Still neat..

I saw one where a P51 (looked 1/4 scale if not larger) began to make a shallow diving pass over the runway. Suddnely the wing peeled right off, leaving the fuse to splash into the ground.

I saw a heli come in and do 2 nice touch and go's on the water. The third time he touched down the tail boom hit the water and the copter totally destroyed itself.

On another show a long time ago I saw a clip of a guy in a speedboat who was holding a float plane ready to hand launch it. The boat must have been going about 40 miles and hour. The guy released the plane and it went up and did the fastest loop I ever saw. The plane looped right around and hit the guy in the back. DOH!!!
