The Mercedes is in the garage. The airplanes are in the kitchen, on the dining table, in the living room and both bedrooms as well as in the hall. The bathroom is not infested, the only room that has resisted the spread. Good thing I live alone. My wife said "Me or ________!" You fill in the blank. It's obvious what my choice was. And I don't regret it one bit. She did give me two of the best years of my life. But the two good ones don't make up for the 33 years of hell she gave me. Haw.

Buy a plane, give me some room,
. Or the whole place will go "Boom!"

Bill.

The 320 was a very nice little car. friend of mine had one with a dealer installed turbosupercharger on it. True. Dealer installed. It would blow a 635i off the road. But my Merc was/is faster.

The Mercedes, in "Horse" terms, is from 1980 by Daimler-Benz out of Atkien Metalfafabrik Gesellschaftt (Spelling?) MBH. It is an AMG 500SE. Cops don't appreciate my doing it, but the car will cruise at 140MPH, peak is about 165. But the power has a price - on a good day I get 8 mpg. But she's a hell of a ride. 23 years old now, I expect her to last me until I no longer need a car. Only nasty - can't carry a big airplane without something sticking out a window.

Hope you are as happy with your Bimmer.

Many drive Bimmers, some drive Mercs,
. Have a little money? That's one of the "Perqs."

I'm in with xp8103.
This is what is in my garage right now, but I'm building a work area and storage area on the other side.

It's a 1967 MGB. My little mistress.

Default 2-car garage!

I've divided the garage into 55% auto parking, 45% workshop - and every once in a while I let my wife park her car in it

Other times there is a plane sitting there !

I've only had one Ferrari, a 250GT SWB. Paid $4800 for it two years old. That car is over a megabuck now, but had I kept it I would have also spent that megabuck for maintenance and insurance by now. Especially the insurance.

But it was fun while I had it.

It, and my race cars, were all sold when I got married. Dumb broad thought a house, clothes, and food were more important. Finally got rid of her, but never got the cars back. Dumb broad.

I love cars that go like stink,
. But they don't leave much time to think.

Bill.

JohnVH:

A Lamorghinin??? BITE YOUR TONGUE! It's a Ferrari Testarossa! Even if you don't recognize the car, look on the side just in front of the door. See the prancing horse in the yellow shield? The Ferrari cars are not refugees from a tractor plant.

Lamorghini. For the pretentious and the pretenders.

Ferrari. A real automibile for real people.

For a real car get a Ferrari ride.
. Or buy a Lambo, exhibit your false pride.

Haw.

Bill.

PS: The main product of Lamborghini IS tractors. True. wr.

OMG, you must be kidding me....

Tractor or not, they are much sexier. False pride? Neither cars are made here anyway. So just relax.

Yes, I knew exactly what that car is. Just seen one the other day driving around.

Anyhow, anyone can put an emblem on something, you have never heard of a kit car?

Just wondering if its real, it just looks a little out of proportion..

John:

Just tongue in cheek. You should relax too.

The Testarossa used on "Miami Vice was a fake. The most common fake Ferrari was the "Miura," (spelling?) looked like a 308, but under the skin it was a Pontiac Fiero.

Looks like you ran into a bandwidth problem also, Mine was originally a double post - didn't think it went the first time, so I reposted. You might want to edit your second post (That's what I'm doing here) and add some more info. Or fuss some more. Haw again.

When you find you have a double post,
. Fix it man, or be ready for a "Roast."

Bill.

OK guys, yes it is a real Testarossa, no kit car here. I think you can see pretty easy when it is a kit car. The look like sh..... !
Lambo is just to exotic, and the quality really sucks.

Ferrari is like the nice girl you take home to your parents......Lamborghini is like the SL*T you have on the side and have the ride of your life

Ive never seem a lambo close enough to tell quality wise, Seen and heard them driving, and would still own if I could afford it. I would LOVE to get a ride in either I guess. Its about style, and IMO the new L's get it from me.

But thats cool, different strokes for different folks. I like both.
