The middle of the fuel tank should be with the middle of the carb, laterally and vertically. Describe what it does when it quits, does it sputter and die, or just die instantly?

Is there any fuel in the tank when it quits? Also, redo all the fuel tubing in the tank. If it is quitting that regularly, I wouldn't be suprised if the clunk fell off, or if there is a hole in the fuel line.
