So Tell me What you really think
So the first season is over for Inside RC, what do you think it needs next season...or doesn't need for that matter? (I personally think you should check out the last episodes...there is much improvement, compared to the first few.)

Need to get it on a channel out here in the sticks. I have a lot of friends that get it but it isn't on our cable here. Wish we had it. We get about 65 channels and only about 5 are worth turning on from time to time. I have heard good things about it though.

more planes, more flying, less talking
More reviews, scale stuff, not just ARF's.
Top Gun pics, flying, not interviewing, interview
off camera, with flying on camera?

Ditto what Burl said and no music when planes are flying, we want to hear the noise. Editting can use some work, you show a plane in flight show it for more then 3 seconds. I'm sorry to say this but the 2 kids at the counter, loose them. My pilots in my planes show more life then that guy.

A buddy taped all the shows for me off his sattelite.
The hobby is more than watching the planes fly, the cars go bump and the boats go splash. (I agree with the music idea)
What about coverage on building/covering techniques for balsa planes or how a different type (not brand) of servo or gyro will affect the flight/setup characteristics of your model (heli or plane). Same could be said for different types of tires, engines etc for cars. Coverage on different aspects of flying; scale, combat (that would be exciting, the crowds in our area love to watch it), sport flying, pattern etc etc.
What about a Clarence Lee (of rcm fame)section on engines; see what kinds of testing is done and what the results mean.
All that being said, it depends on the audience you are trying to reach. RC folks want more than a high level glossy review of the hobby. Non-rc folks want to see what it's about. Maybe something in the middle?
Personally I believe my expectations were probably too high but I did watch the episodes.

Well first off, the hosts have changed. Now it will just be one host, Krista Gibson, and less talking...more interviews with the pros and etc. The music has become quite the issue it sounds like. But keep in mind it was the first season, and very new territory for the Outdoor Channel. If you're iffy on last season, give it a few more tries this next season. Thanks to all the feedback, it gives the show somewhere to go... Every show has it's problems first season. It's a learning process. In the mean time, you should check out the upcoming events and meet with the host and crew. There's a booth at an event here in Anaheim May 2nd 3rd and 4th. Please keep the comments coming! What else do you folks want to see?

Is this the show on DIY.......if so the goofy host needs to go....he is stuck on him self, you need more informative topics.......for example......the host says "just connect the servo leads to the receiver and your ready to go".........but I have no Idea what number to connect to what? for a new guy it would be great to go over certain things as if you were teaching a class.....dont assume people know everything. I am not into buggys cars and trucks. so You loose me as an audience member when they profile these type of toys I just turn it off. Maybe talk to the program director and see if they have another time slot to have just R/C Trucks and Cars..........and another time slot for R/C Airplanes. This is just my opinion, Thanks Tim

I think everyone needs to remember that it is "Inside RC" not "Inside RC Planes". I am a plane guy so I know that is what I would like to see more of but the show does cover the whole R/C hobby. The show on DIY is "Radio Control Hobbies", and it is, for the most part, very lame. I don't get the Outdoor Channel so I haven't seen this show yet. Now that I think about it, I guess I have nothing of value to say. At least this show has a better looking host(ess) than DIY's.

No this is a different show..We're on the Outdoor Channel. It's called Inside R/C ...Despite a rough start, this next season has made some wonderful improvements and I think the RC community will be a lot more pleased. You can check us out on the web at www.Insiderc.com. Just hang in there while we make the adjustments to our show's format. We want this to be your number one source for radio control television! So...Please keep the comments coming! It's very helpful!!! We can't make those changes without hearing from the most important people, the RC users and fans!

Why dont you check out the website, and wait until this next season starts. Then you can download clips and get a better idea!

People seem to be 50-50 on the show...it's personal opinion. Everybody has their likes and dislikes. Although there's always room for improvement!

The one with the goofy host is on DIY. He reminds me of Robert Blake, except for the killing of the ex-wife part, of course.

Marc...why would they do that? Krista, how about an episode featuring the AMA museum? or possibly visiting local clubs. Our field is about 5 min from Du Bro.
