The first step is admitting that you have a problem. But I swear, I can stop flying when ever I want to .

i get the compulsive urge to go flying, but because im only 15 and cant drive i usually end up going into the workshop and sanding balsa instead. but when im up at the field i fly for as long as i can as much as i can to get my weekly fix.

i have light aeroplanes for nice days and heavy aeroplanes for windy days so im pretty much suited for every occasion, aint nothing going to stop me from flying!

Oh yeah, count me in as a hardcore addict. Better this than booze or gambling.

Yeah, I do consider myself an RC addict. In the Spring/Summer I'm out there as much as possible & I go to all of the local flying events. Although, in the winter, I'm on the sim A LOT. Right now in Wisconsin, the flying season is in about 3 weeks - a month away ! I'm going crazy [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] I check Accuweather & call the local airport's weather report thing, w/ hope that it'll get above 40 & be low winds. Nope. Doesn't happen most of the time. I envy you people in warm states. And another thing is that I'm only 13, so, It kinda depends on what my dad wants to do. Plus, on top of that, I've got homework to finish before going flying. Its like a balancing act

My wife thinks I need help. I run/race RC boats, and when I'm not doing that, I'm building or flying. It's great living in south georgia. RC all year long!

I've been spending 40 plus hours a week in my work shop. Add a couple of hours aday on the Forums. I usually spend a hour a day, talking to RC friends.

I don't see a problem.

I really enjoy it, I might perhaps spend 3-4 hours a day on RCU and in the shop. I fly twice a week or more, year round. And my wife says I am very hard to get along with if I dont fly that often. But, to answer your question, no I dont think I am addicted.

Let's see. I get up every morning and surf the RC forum sites for a while then after work until I go to bed. When I get a chance, I'm in the basement working on something. My T-shirt drawer is full of R/C related shirts and those not have fuel stains or CA drips on them. Just about every hat that I own is from an R/C manufacturer or hobby shop.
I work the 3-11 shift, my wife works days so it's easier to sneak stuff in the house and hope that the mailman, UPS, FedEx or DHL shows up while she's not at home.
Nope, not addicted............
