Any retailers bigger/equal to TOWERHOBBIES
Are there's any popular major retailer that has just a comprehensive line of rc items as Towerhobbies?
So far i haven't found any other where you can get such a good line up of all the major plane, car & boat stuff. Tower cannot really compete in the heli arena...
places such as hobby-Lobby.. mainly have smaller size kits etc...
I'm looking for a retailer that essentially stocks the exact things that tower has so i can compare prices etc..

I don't think you can . I've been in the hobby for 5 yrs. & I'm the original tight-wad. I've shopped about all the bigger suppliers. Every now & then somebody will beat their price ( not very often ) never beat their selection( at least on fixed wing stuff) & never ever beat their service!!!!! I've got so, to save time,I try Tower first & then, if they don't have it,I'll look else where. Some times you can get a real steal on the scratch&dents or overstocks!!

A lot of specialty shops have better prices than tower. Nit many have their selection though. To get the best price you just need to know where to shop.

Most of the product line that Tower carries they are also the distributor to all the
hobby shops for same, This is especially true for most of their arf line and radios
and engines.
When you factor in no tax if you live outside of ILL and the discounts they offer
they are hard to beat.

Humm, I wonder ??? Maybe just a coincedence ?? I'll just about bet the farm that T/H owns Horizon.. Let's see, isn't Futaba ,also in the same city ? This is the day of corporate buying isn't it ??

As far as what is reported Horizon is a totally separate company, But
as far as Futaba their USA service and distribution is run by Hobbico
who is the parent company of Tower.
