Good job! That's the way Tiger Woods started out. Get 'em interested while they're young. I attended a management seminar many years ago when I was working, and they showed a movie entitled - "You are what you were when" and it went on to say that whatever you were doing that you really liked to do, at age 10, you would be doing the rest of your life. In my case I started into modeling at age 7, and am still doing it - full speed - at age 78.

Hope the same thing holds true for your son.

My son started at 6 and here we are 11 years later, he beats me at every contest that we go to. He was on the buddy box for almost 2 years and when I unplugged him, he was on his way. I am into scale and he is into anything that flys. Does me proud... Dave

Nice work guys. I wish I had the buddy box system when I started .
This hobby could use some young blood. [8D]

I wish I had a plane at that age I always had the big foam gliders that you get at walmart, one time my dad got me a control line model for chrismas when I was maybe in first and we got the engine running once and that was it, we couldnt get it started,we took it back and got a refund, I really got interested into R/C when I read a book on it in 3rd grade. I never had a plane cause I didnt have the patience to save my money, until now

Yup Guys, we've got to keep some young blood flowing in the sport! Took Greyson out today for his second lesson and he's able to make a decent 180 degree turn from strait and level with just a little loss of altitude. It's a start for sure!

Baby bird in a tree and a big Tom cat on the ground[:@]
Interesting the younger generation can care less. They seem to not care any more They are brought up to think the whole world is there just for them and free for the taking.
You would not believe what some Kids have for spending money and do not have to get their hands Dirty

Yup, Things sure are different than when I grew up in the '60's!! I try to instill in my kids the value of working and really earning your money, and appreciating the simple non-material things in life. Flat screen HD TV? we had a Black and white console. Cell phone? we had a rotory dial on the wall. Video games? My Dad built a box with two potentiometers sticking out the top and we played paddle ball Pong!!
