Anyone near Des Moines, IA?
I will be going through Des Moines, IA on Memorial Day and would like to find a place where I can do a little flying on my way through. I will have a Flip 3D with me.
LEt me know if your club allows guests, with AMA, and directions to your field.

we allow guests with AMA, but you must be accompanied by a member for the club fields.
There is one field at waterworks park in Des Moines that is open to all.
However, last I heard, the road leading to it was underwater, so you would have to walk in.

Waterworks Park
The one at waterworks is open now...It's open to all fliers.with or without a AMA card...Has the best flying field in this area....Freq. board,grass runway, fence, and some of the nicest people you want to meet....Located off of Fluer Drive....South Des Moines...
