Don
I have a contact and will ping him on this.
He already has a succesful company making models and I will see if he is interested in this project.
if he is , I will make the introductions in hopes of getting an ARF out of the deal
we will see what happens.....I will call him Monday/Tuesday and let you know.

Guys,
It's still in the works, I will not give up getting this to happen.

we, I am sorry to say, my contact was basically unable to help us
As some of you know, I have been hanging around here a while, so I figured I know a guy with a sucessful modeling company so I would help out the casue and ask
turns out he is very........very sucessful, and actually has a Private client ordering 1000's of units......above what he sells under his brand.
so while he could manufacture this for us in his factory, we would need to comit to 1000 units for it to happen
he is not really interested in a joint venture such as I under stand the deal was with condor or east.......sad to say.
don, if you need his name and number PM me and I will hook you up.
I will also keep an eye open, as you never know.....
seems like a no brainer for me, building the FM.....you would sell your entire first container of 300 or so from the looks of the condor list
and that would "Start the fire" IMHO and these would be poping up at fields all over, then you sell like the next 2 or 3 containers...
I have seen it many times......but hey....I can't talk as it is not my $$$ going out to prove it........
we could always pay in advance and get Don the money he needs [X(]

Hi everyone,
I actually have one of these in kit form, by Progressive Miniature Aviation that I'm looking to sell.
I started to assemble the fuse, but realized it was too advanced for me. If anyone might be interested please PM me.
Im located in NB canada, but will ship to USA as well.

and don't forget there is the seldom talked about .60 sized plans as well
I have both from Don and plan on making the .60 sized my first build
I will send it out to get cut and start building hopfully in Jan/Feb
so far Joel has used my plans to build a .40 from scratch that is AWESOME
I wil likely put a small gas on the .60 sized
but my passion is the .40 size one with a Rossi on a pipe

Hey Tom, Just wondering if you have an idea of what gasser your thinking about for the .60 size? I just saw the Evolution 10cc discusson on another thread and was wondering what I could build to use one on. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
dave

Looks interesting, as long s it is not a dog, in terms of power
I also have a 2 stroke O/S 75 I was thinking of hanging on the .60 size (more pep) but who knows
Gas is interesting to me for sure, and as these smaller gassers get better that could be the way I go

I was wondering....generally, how much would the 60 Class flying machine weigh? If its near 10 lbs a 100 or 120 class 4-stroke would be a minimum, or a 20cc gas, or the 75stroke....I suppose

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine
Hi, In hopes to help you and save you a bunch of time; The FM with a DUB-JETT 90 LITE BSE ( Bar Stock Engine ) is a set up that is second to none. // Weight comes out right at 6 lbs. as long as you forget epoxy exsists( always use thin CA and GAP FIL CA ).
Also with the Dub-Jett Motor = if it's the BSE - 50 Sport motor; it likes the 19,000 rpm range on the 44" wing Reg. FM using a MasterAir Screw 10x5 (not the 17,000 as recommended) with just a trace of smoke trail coming out when wide open.
The 90 Lite BSE motor; likes the 16,000 to 17,000 rpm range on the FM (not the 14,000 as recommended). // You alwayswant to prop these motors so they really unload and hit PEAK performance, never overload them, you'll burn them up fast. Think of it being a DIRTBIKE !! KEEP it UP on the PIPE at all times.
As far as MID Range and trying to hover, they weren't built to hover, forget Mid Range. !! LOLS !! -SCREAMRP The King ofScream
P/S These two power set ups on both size Flying Machines are the best I've felt or flown ever. !! Bad to the bone !! Also use OMEGA PINK 15% fuel only.

I hope to have the project I am working on wrapped up in JAN
Should have major holes open up in my schedule FEB
I am taking vacation this year FEB/March taking a bunch of Fridays off, so I have 3 day weekend after 3 day weekend
should make for a few good days on Friday's at Markham
I will also have my new 50CC GAS 30% YAK, my new Habu 32 (6S 5000Mah) with retracts
and of course, I still have yet to put up the FM after rebuilding the O/S .46 - but can't wait to fly it
I will give you a ring after the new year, so we can setup things.........I can pretty much move the day off to any day so we can fly during the week

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine
Its a thunder tiger pro .46 with a Mac's Tuned pipe. My other one had a Rossi .40, but the rossi is gone, so I will give this a shot. I had this engine broke in on a Lanier Dominator 500, but I never put the pipe on it, the first flight with the pipe will be on the FM. Should be interesting!
